Seminar on Virtual Technology for Cultural Heritage and Scientific Conservation.

The Faculty of Art and Design, Institute of Technology Bandung and Borobudur Conservation Office in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute, Jakarta organize a two-days event, which consists of a seminar and a workshop.

The seminar, to introduce the new technology for conservation of cultural heritage, is conducted by Brahmantara and Panggah Ardiansyah from Borobudur Conservation Office; Pindi Setiawan, Hendy Tiasa and Dianing Ratri from Insitute of Technology Bandung.

Michaela Anselmini, an Italian restorer will conduct a seminar entitled “Science for Conservation: New Technology for Cultural Heritage Conservation”.

The second day is dedicated to a workshop on reading the relief scenes of Borubudur temple.
